Arriving in Tangier
Ibn Battouta is about 12 km from the city, roughly twenty minutes. Tanger Med, where the ferries from Spain arrive, is considerably further out at around 45 km, so allow closer to an hour. We meet both, and we also meet the Al Boraq high-speed trains at Tanger-Ville.
What we do here
Two kinds of work dominate here. The first is ferry arrivals from Spain who want to be driven on rather than hire a car in an unfamiliar country. The second is Chefchaouen: the blue city is about two and a half hours away, and a private vehicle means you can leave early, beat the coach parties and come back when you are ready rather than when the group is.

Do you collect from Tanger Med ferry port?
Yes. Tanger Med is about 45 km from the city, so allow around an hour. Give us the ferry and the docking time and a driver will be waiting when you come through.
How long is the drive to Chefchaouen?
About two and a half hours each way. Most people do it as a full day trip. Going privately means an early start, which matters a great deal for photographs before the crowds.
Can you take us onward to Fez or Rabat?
Yes, both are routine. Fez is about three and a half hours and Rabat about three, door to door, at one fixed fare for the vehicle.
Do you meet the high-speed train?
We do, at Tanger-Ville. It is a common combination: Al Boraq up from Casablanca or Rabat, then a private vehicle onward to Chefchaouen or the coast.
